CIR needs your help to preserve our liberty

Contributing to CIR is one of the most effective ways to defend the individual liberties that are vital to maintaining and preserving freedom in the United States.

Every financial and pro bono contribution helps produce historic legal victories to advance threatened and violated individual rights. CIR is a 501(c)(3) organization and contributions are tax-deductible up to the limits allowed by law.

Our opponents have enormous financial resources and the weight of the establishment on their side, but every contribution to CIR helps keep liberty alive in the courts.

Bang for your buck!

Last year, CIR spent 76% of its expenses on its core missions: litigation and public education.

What do your contributions help CIR accomplish?  CIR’s quarterly Docket Report newsletters and our Annual Reports feature our clients and cases, and highlight our progress and victories in the fight to defend liberty by strengthening individual rights.  To view current and past issues, please click:

CIR's privacy policy

The Center for Individual Rights respects the privacy of our donors and their choice not to have personal information shared with others.  CIR does not and will not sell, rent, or trade donor information to any organization that uses such information for commercial purposes.

Occasionally, CIR makes donor mailing lists available for one time use by selected nonprofits (generally with other conservative and libertarian organizations) in return for donor lists from those organizations.   (This helps CIR continue to grow.)   Our donors may instruct that we exclude their information from any lists that we share.

All such requests to opt-out should be directed to Megan Lott, Senior Development Director, Center for Individual Rights, 1233 20th Street, N.W., Suite 300, Washington, D.C.  20036; or lott@cir-usa.org, and will be implemented as soon as possible.

While we customarily recognize our donors in our Annual Report, all donors have the option to remain anonymous, and such requests should be directed to Megan Lott as well.  She can be reached via our Toll-Free number (877) 426-2665 ext. 106 or you can fax her at (202) 833-8410.
