Maria Dubin
Legal Assistant
Maria Dubin is CIR’s Legal Assistant. Maria has a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Russian Language from Binghamton University, and a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from Ohio University. During her master’s program, she conducted research at The Buckeye Institute, a free-market, non-partisan think tank dedicated to the defense of constitutional rights and economic freedom.
Maria has worked as a translator for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, as an editor for the GULAG Museum in Moscow, and as an editor for the critical, investigative newspaper, Novaya Gazeta. In addition, she served as an English teacher on the Fulbright Program in Belarus, delivering lectures on American government, history, culture, and higher education to university students and law students. Having joined CIR in August, she is committed to advancing the defense of our constitutional rights, our personal liberties, and the rule of law.
