Cara Dublin

Cara Dublin joined CIR in 2026 as Content Director.

As a sixth-generation native Texan, her love of liberty is deep and inborn. Like all Texans, Cara has a knack for storytelling, so her job consists of telling the true stories of CIR clients—tales of individual rights protected and restored by the efforts of CIR and our friends, supporters, and allies. She specializes in writing—including grants, op-eds, webpages, and more—and in managing large-scale foundation grants with complex deliverables.

Prior to joining CIR, Cara worked for Pacific Legal Foundation and Texas Public Policy Foundation. She completed the Claremont Institute’s Publius Fellowship in 2017, participating in 40 intensive seminars and symposia on political philosophy and the moral principles of the American constitutional order. Before that, she obtained her M.A. in English—specifically, Victorian studies—as a Fulbright US-UK Postgraduate Scholar at the University of Leicester. In 2024, she went back to the UK to complete a summer program in English Literature at Oxford. Yes; she likes tea.

Outside of work, Cara occasionally writes for fun. She also provides English literature instruction to local homeschoolers, and she takes any opportunity to sing, dance, or ride a horse.
