Gerard Alexander

Gerard Alexander is an associate professor of politics at the University of Virginia. He is also the founder and president of the Blue Ridge Center in Charlotteville, VA, which is an independent organization that offers intellectually-diverse content to UVA undergraduates. Gerard is the author of The Sources of Democratic Consolidation, has published scholarly articles in numerous academic journals, and has written for publications such as National Review, Claremont Review of Books, The Washington Post, and The New York Times.
