For years, Portland increased funding for some of its public schools based on the racial makeup on the student body. When Richard Raseley learned that his daughter’s school received less under this race-based formula, he took action. Represented by CIR, Richard filed a lawsuit challenging the unconstitutional funding policy and another that—in the name of “racial equity and social justice”—stopped parents from fundraising for the own kids’ schools.

Join us for an informative and critical conversation about the continued use of racial preferences in American Education—and what you can do to defend the equal protection of the law.
